School tuck shops

Why do schools sell such rubbish when they could give the children more health food. What do you think

I agree, it would be better if schools would give more healthy foods.My daughters only allows healthy chips and snacks. Like they can only have baked chips and fruit. No cookies or sugar.

Bongs' school got a healthy schools award bcause they give them fruit at morning break intsead of crisps. The school meals are meant to be healthier too but they are still not up to much so he takes his own lunch, that way I know what he's eating and how much aswell. It must get harder to control as kids grow up, schools should help kids learn about nutrition, not just what is easy for them to store and serve.

I think those food sold in school canteens over here in my country are ok, because there are stringent requirements set by our Ministry of Education.

i agree to this children must be provided with healthy food rather than junk food.
