Alternate Lead Actor

i have to agree.. absolutely no one... and mind you they were lucky to get him on board for the latest sequel.. they can afford to lose both orlando bloom and keira knightley but not johnny depp.. he is the essence of the movie and i'm not wrong to say that he is the main reason of success behind the movie.. i know some of my friends who just watch the movie only because of captain jack sparrow.. for me, if they had not manage to get johnny on board, they should not bother making another pirates film..

No one! He is the best in this role, and I personally cannot imagine anyone else playing this part!

I dont think so any other would have suited for this role. He was the perfect one for the role so was he selected for the same. Before makeing of the movie if we were told about the character and then if we would have asked to suggest for the same. I think at that time it would have been possible for us to suggest. But now when the parts are done with jonny, we are habitated to him for this character and just cannot imagine any other fellow, can we. I dont think so.

I think no one can do better than him.He is so suit for that role, I think that's the best role that he made.

Well.. Johnny Depp is absolutely ..irreplaceable in this movie.. he made this character of Jack Sparrow amazing :) .... But worst come worst he had to be replaced may be Jim Carey ? :)

Yeah I really can't picture anyone else as Jack Sparrow. Johnny Depp is very charismatic and a great actor. He has a great personality and in his movies he shows it. He displays many different outstanding performances throughout all his different movies. Plus no one talks like he can when he is Jack. I think he is irreplaceable.

first of all Johnny Depp is best for his role as captain Jack Sparrow. None could have performed better than him. If i should think of some other actor as Jack Sparrow. Then Jim Carey would have been suitable to do comedy. But Jim Carey would not have done the serious part good.

I think if Jonny Depp didn't play the role as Jack Sparrow,then I would probably haven't been so addicted to it and so desperate to see the next one.He is perfect for this role,I love his swagger and his humor.In my opinion,no one can replace him.Without Johnny Depp,the character will be incomplete.
