Cheap cat toy

Cats are so funny. We spend money to buy them toy mice or a nice climbing toy and they prefer the simple toys. My eight year old tiger cat is batting around a milk jug lid for a toy. He has toy mice and he has a scratch pad and toy balls but he would rather play with a milk jug lid that fell out of the trashcan when I went to throw it away :)I can't help but be amused by that.

LOL. I have been giving those to my cats for years.. They are easily amused... I have 2 kittens almost 8 weeks old and I was watching them with great amusement as they stalked and hunted and carried away a LEAF! They don't need much. :-)

Never thought of a leaf as a toy. Yes cats are amusing :)

That's adorable! My cats used to play with a laser light, but they have since gotten bored with it. I think they all have realized that they're not going to catch the light any time soon.

Yep, I know, eh! I have 6 fixed indoor cats and they are easily amused. Some of their favorite toys are paper balls, tin foil balls and the safety seal of the water jugs! Oh yea, I almost forgot Q-TIPS and STRAWS bet your cat would like them too LOL

My cat is like that too. I bought her many toys and even a cat house to sleep in. She doesn't play with the toys but I have seen her play with a piece of string, a pencil, even a piece of paper, LOL. The house I bought, she doesn't play in it or sleep in it but will curl up in anything else she can find, I've found her sleeping in a hat, a box, even a shopping bag. There certainly are amusing. :)
