teling lie is it ok sometimes?

Sometimes I tell white lies to people to avoid hurting them. Even though its a bad thing for telling a lie regardless of if I have good intentions or not, sometimes it just makes me feel better hiding the truth from the person rather than spilling it out and hurting them in the process. Its a bit selfish, I know. But I'm just protecting them from hurting. Like telling white lies to children, even though its not a good thing, you just want to protect their innocence. That's all. I never believe it is necessary to lie. Some people think telling a Lie makes certain situations easier for other people to handle, but when the truth comes out, and it usually does, it makes the whole scenario much worse, and you lose trust. Better to always tell the truth, and let them get mad at you for being rude, and insensitive, then to lose the trust. Sincerely and With Appreciation.

I will only lie if necessary. As long as I don't mean to trick, to cheat, or to harm. I will do that to protect or to calm someone down. For example, if someone would like to kill and the person which is going to be killed is hidden inside my place and I know it, I will never tell the killer he or she is there regardless of what happen. Or, if you contribute your money to a church or mosque and people ask you, that's okay to not telling them or say no.

Sometimes we are telling a lie for security and privacy purposes. For example if the guy ask his guy friend if he has something done with his girlfriend then his friend deny it even though it is true, that is very reasonable not because he is being defensive but to protect the privacy and dignity of his girlfriend. We are lying to avoid trouble and sometimes we are doing it so that we can avoid to offend other people.

sometimes concealing the truth is the best option especially if you know that the truth would only hurt the person you love.
