How to Change Last Name Legally?

Whatever country you live in, you probably have to go to the place where people's records are kept. In other words, the place where you get your birth certificate. Once there, just ask a clerk or go to the help desk and they should direct you in the right way. As far as I know, you have to be at least 18 years or older to change your first or last name legally. Make sure that if you do change it, you keep a birth certificate with your old name, and always have a copy of the one with your new name. Just in case anything happens in the future that might conflict with your new identity!
