Somethings Gotta Give... Would you date someone older or younger?

Yesterday i downloaded movies recommended by my friends. One of which was Something's Gotta Give. The story have lots of scenes where young (age 20-30) and sexy ladies go out to date and have relationship with an older man (age 50-60). Though the movie finished with the mom of the young lady and the older man being together, i was just curious... This is a question for both men and ladies, would you date someone 20 years older or younger than you? why?

I've seen this movie a long time ago. i though it was cute.
but as for me.
no, i don't think so.
i mean if the man is 50 and im 30. he should have kids around my age and i find that to be a little off. (no offense to anybody)
but, hey age is just a number (so i hear). you are as young as you feel.
if it happens and it is true love. go for it, is what i say!

That is one of the most fantastic movies ever, I must say! I love it! And... considering I am 20 years old, I'm going to have to go with older. Dating a 40 year old is actually what I'm more interested in anyway ;)

Hmmmm! 20 years gap is too long for me. I am not saying that I would never date someone younger than I am. Besides, I am in a relationship now which the guy is younger than I am. No big deal for me as long as we understand each other and go along well. But I think, 10 years age gap is also too long for me. Age does not matter, but it depends on how many years is the gap.

I'd date someone 4 to 5 years older than me but i won't go as far as twenty years older or younger, for that matter. That is just way over the line. I have standards and principles.

I think most women would prefer men who are older than they are, since generally women mature earlier than men. Most young men are adventurous and likes to go out with more girls.
For me, I would prefer woman who is younger than me. But really, age does not matter as long as both love each other and understand each other.
