How Do You Explain Human Nature?

Naturalism says that humans are nothing more than evolved social animals. There is nothing that truly separates us from the other animals, so all our behavior can be explained in terms of doing what helps us to survive and reproduce. How do you explain human nature? Why do human beings act the way we do? What it really boils down to is, Why am I so good and you're so bad?

I read an interesting piece titled ‘Differences between humans and animals’ (here is the link: http://www.answersingenesis.org/creation/v17/i4/differences.asp The article states that reason, language, inquiry, wonder, longing, religion, morality, aesthetics, creativity, imagination, aspiration and humour are human qualities that animals are not necessarily devoid of. I am an animal lover and I have a few pets; I can see the differences in their personalities and I see emotion in them too, that’s right emotion! Morality I guess is what separates us the most…

Well, some people are inherently good and some people are just bad apples. Everyone has the capacity for good, as well as the capacity for evil, but it's all about the person. Some people choose to be good and choose to do what is right, but some people don't. Also, for the record, animals are like this as well. Three out of my four cats are and were well behaved (one passed away this year), but there is that one cat that just refuses to be good because he wants things his way. People choose what they want and what they want to be whether they know it or not.

When I hear human nature, I always think of "we're just humans, we do mistakes, we're not perfect." As well as, human nature entails "survival of the fittest."

Human nature is blend of many things. It includes love, compassion and honesty to hatred, jealousy and chauvinism.Human nature has varied aspects. We are social animals because God has given us the brain to think superior than other creatures on this earth but we are misusing that blessing of God in thinking and causing destruction and pain to mankind in different ways.Human nature is full of egoism, sympathy towards fellow beings at the same time human nature has the tendency not to see any one happy. So human nature can be explained in varied terms.
