You maybe familiar with John Kramer aka the JIG SAW. I have been watch this movie from the very beginning and I love the lesson of the story it is about how you will cherish your life and learn to forgive and forget. At first I thought Jig Saw is trying to revenge for the death of his Baby but he is not he was a man who will let you realize how valuable is your life. But one of the thing I realized in that movie is that how would someone sacrifice a part of his body to save the one who have been a part of the death of the ones they loved. Now the question is would you sacrifice a part of your body just to save them?

My understanding of the question was this: I would sacrifice my body part and give it to a person who tried to hurt my family. If I do this it would save my family. If that's the case then I would definitely give a part of my body to that person just to save my family. I love my family and I would do anything for them.

Actually it is right that you would sacrifice it to save the person who hurt your family but it doesn't mean that it would save your family also, what would you do then?

The lesson of this question is that when you will learn how to forgive and forget, will you forgive that person and forget what he have done to your family and spare his life? like jigsaw always says "live or die it's your choice".

I thought it would save them... If it wont save them then I definitely wont give it to him. Why would I? If that bad person who tries to hurt my family would live even without my donation then I wouldn't give my own body part to him!

off course i would, i do it for my wife and son, because basically without them life would be meaningless. But i think i would only do it for them, but not for my brother because i have a family to worry about.

The question is not for your family it would someone who have tried to hurt to family members and he is being captive and in order to save him like in the movie of SAW you need to sacrifice a part of your body. I would rephrase the question clearly would you sacrifice a part of your body for someone who tried to hurt you and your family?

Than in that case the answer is no. I would probably forgive him/her but I will not sacrifice my self.

Sacrificing a part of your body is a very noble thing to do. But then, we are humans and we have some responsibilities too that we cannot just ignore for earning good name or money. I have my responsibilities towards my wife and family. If there does come a chance to do the organ sacrifice, I would do it only for my family. In the worst case, if I realize that doing thins would get me a wealth which would help me and my family, I might consider it given the conditions and situations I am/we are at that point. I have read recently that a girl sold her virginity to some rich guy in England because she was unable to complete her education which she feels would help her to earn money and make a living. The point I want to emphasize is that, if there is a need (a desperate one) and there is an offer, I might considering sacrificing my part to some outsider - otherwise it is a strict NO and offer is only for my family. Regards, Sids.

I understand your point and I really love the way you emphasize it. But let me put it this way if you would given the chance to save someone's life but that person is the one who have been part for the lost of some one you love. Now before you can save him you must learn how to forgive him first after that you need to help him by sacrificing your arm. A good example is that this man is falling on the clip and his life is in your hand.

I have not seen the movie so I can not comment on the subject in the context of the movie, but the question of sacrificing ones own part of the body to save somebody,s life is very interesting. It requires a great human being who has understood the meaning of life to do that. I have come across a number of such people who have donated their Kidneys to save the life of their near and dear ones. It is one thing to do such acts for the benefit of your near and dear ones and entirely different thing to do that for a stranger other than for the monetary benefit. It requires even greater level of human being to do that. As far as I am concerned I may fall inthe first category but not in the second.

It indeed requires a great level of human being but I guess if you have seen the movie then you would realized that in the end of it the choice whether to let him live or die is in the faith of your hand and it would be the hardest decision of your life.

Hi dear, There are several similar cases happening around. We can see in movies and stories etc about the sacrifice of such things. But when it comes to reality, things will change. Anyone will be ready to do so, if they are their immediately wanted people like h/b, w/e, child etc. It is comment that h/b-w/f provide kidneys to their partner, mom to son or daughter, father to child – all common and they will do and even, if required, I am ready to do it. Because they are the one give the happiness and life to us. However, I have my will already prepared to donate my full body and organs to medical studies and the usable organs for the most need in my family or relative if required at the event or anyone who is need of the same. So, all such things are depend on the relationship with the people and no one may be willing to provide their body part for anyone other than the family or most related personnel. Regards, Thank-s

I would surely donate a kidney if I need to, If you loose all functional kidney you will surely die, but you can still live with one.

yes, if i will be in the situation that someone will be needing some part of my body to keep them live, why not share it with them.... anyway, we do not own our life, we just borrowed this from the most Superior of us, God... if ever i will be caught in that situation, i wont think twice of donating a piece of my body...
