because as the saying goes, you can't have it all. life is all about trade offs. you lose some you win some...or lose some, you win big - but it all depends on your perception and preference. it depends on what you think is more valuable or worthy - whether it's the prize you win or the price you have to pay for it.

sacrifice? i hate that word! why would you sacrifice your loveone for the sake of others..tell me why? why would you sacrifice yourself for the sake of others? would you sacrifice your own happiness for the sake of your loveone? or the sake of your friends? how about yourself? asked yourself, did they sacrifice something for you? when it comes to love, one needs to be a selfish..i don't care if they point their fingers on me or you, that's your own life, your own happiness. take every possible things to do to make it, to prove it. She doesn't like but you do. THey don't like her but you love her. why would let somebody/someone ruin your own happiness. Don't let them ruin your life.

I do not consider it sacrifices but rather compromising. We should not have to sacrifice our friends because we now have a love interest. We compromise, basically what that to me means it is natural to fully assert our time to a love more-so than our friends, however if we are true friends we would compromise somehow and still spend some time, naturally not the same amount as when we are single.
