i basically grew up in the city but when i finished my college, i got a job in the province and stayed there for five years. it took me quiet a long time to adjust with the environment and the lifestyle living there. in the province, at 7'00 o clock in the evening, we already slept but in the city it is the time where almost everybody are awake to enjoy their day from work. after how many months i learned to love the calmness and the serenity of my life there. very simple way of living, very peaceful and the very thing i fell in love living there is the fresh air and the life with no traffic. after five years, i moved here in the city as i get another job here more promising than the one i had in the province. and for the second time, i have the longest time of adjustment. it seems that i just don't want to get old here, the heavy traffic and the past paced life pressures me. after a while, i am okey and learned to live with it. now after almost a year of living here, i felt the thrill once again. city life is so busy and fun. you could feel how people work in hurry. the traffic now becomes a sweet music to my ear, the challenge of competition is so alive, and a weekend rest is like a luxury. have you tried living both in urban & rural community? which do you prefer more to live?

I grew up in a rural area.Life there is so simple quite and peaceful. After I graduated college had to live in a city because of work.If very different to live in the city.Traffics, the way of living and the pressures you have to overcome everyday.Whenever I have enough time I always visit the rural area where I grew up,I still love the life there.Maybe when I retire and get old I want to go back and live there again.

Well, here in Southern California, the best place to live is Irvine, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, San Dimas, La Verne, and cities with a great reputation. I would live in the communities where the crime is low and were there is less traffic and the air is cleaner.

It is better to follow the saying," When you are in Rome, do as Romans do", In Rural s cannot make much bucks, in urban cannot live naturally, hence I am looking for a natural environment with abundant money making scope.

Both the province and the city are better to live. In the province you'll enjoy a simple healthy living, with all the vegetable and fruits around. Little expenses as there are few recreations to spend with. Foods are own grown and you can cook and eat without buying. You go on swimming in lakes and rivers without fees, but in the province you'll be earning less. In the city it's noisy, it's crowded, so many recreational activities and you have to buy everything but you earn more. Big opportunities for a successful life can be found in the city. So it's just a matter of choice.

I have both lived in the city and in the province and i should say that i agree with you. Living in the province is so peaceful, no traffic, no thieves, fresh air, less crime rates, no traffic, very calm and has fresh air. I only lived there for 6months for a job and i already loved the environment there. I have to move back to the city right away after my contract there ended and from then on i said i wanted to go back to the province and live there and even plan on buying a lot and building my dream house there..anyway that's only a dream that has yet to come true.. So yes i wanted to go back there soon.. and even if i have better opportunities here in the city i will never forget the short moment i stayed in the province.

Well, me, i grew up in the province and spend my childhood in a small town. Somewhere in Bulacan. My parents sent me to Manila to study in one of the University here. Now that i am working, still here living my life in the City makes me love where i am. I miss the the silence and simple life in my hometown. But i think i just couldn't leave the noisy, hectic and stressful life of mine here. Though, i always come back in Bulacan, but i feel bored when i stay too long. So at this moment i rather choose and live my life to the fullest in the City. And maybe give a second thought of settling down in the province.
