Hi! You know what, I started using high heels when I was 23 :) My college campus was really big and requires us to walk from room to room to our classes so I never wore high heels during college. I started wearing it when I started working. I started with 1-inch heels and those with thick like wedged heels. Then after a few months when I got used to wearing it I increased the height to 2 inches. I also started using the stilleto heels but only up to 2 inches. After that I tried using 2 and a half inch stilleto heels but I get pain in my feet everytime so I only use it sparingly :) You can follow what I did, start using 1-inch heels first or wedged heels until you get used to it and then slowly work your way to higher heels :) Just make sure that your feet will be comfortable enough coz higher heels are actually not good for the health and blood circulation :)

Oh don't worry about it. My feet hurt too the first time I wore heels, and it was also 1-inch. Just make sure that you rest your feet for 1 or 2 days after wearing your heels so that you won't get problems with it, like varicose veins or something. You might also want to alternate the heels and flats, and not wear heels for a long time and then suddenly wear flats the next day coz your feet might get 'shocked' on the sudden adjustment. Just like me before, I wore heels for like a month and then one day decided to wear flats, my feet got hurt then! LOL! I guess our feet would adjust to the type of footwear we are wearing. That's why it's good to alternate wearing heels and flats so that our feet can adjust accordingly. Sooner or later you'll get used to it and your feet won't get hurt anymore whether you wear heels or flats :) That's what happened to me, I alternate using heels and flats and after a long time, my feet doesn't hurt anymore :)

I am twenty and turning twenty one in June and I hardly wear high heels. Some people just can't and don't.. You can't force yourself, start by buying heels that are half a inch.. then inch, inch and half, two.. start off lower so you get used to them. Do not get skinny heels yet either, get fat heels so you can get used to them. I am okay with max two inches but over that nope... plus I do not want to be taller than my boyfriend.
