I have notice that some American horror movies are always creating remake from the Korean horror movies. Are those American lack of creativeness when it comes to creating horror movies or they just want to create remake? I notice some Korean movies I have watched can produce a nice story plot and when you watched it, you will learn something from that movie. Like "The Doll Master". I have learned in this movie how to value things like taking good care of the things that have given to us, either old or new. Another is "The Phone". It teaches us not to be 'unfaithful and dishonest' to our husband or wife. The movie "The Eye". Another is "The Tale of Two Sisters", "The Ring"... I forgot some movie, he he he. Honestly speaking, we watch Korean horror movie and then, after we watch some Korean horror movie, we also watch remake from American horror movie, but we like it so much.

Err...some of those movies you mentioned aren't even Korean. And I don't think that Hollywood lacks creativity when it comes to horror movies. We have plenty of our own original movies. It's more like they like a foreign movie, not necessarily from the horror genre, that they want to adapt it and make it more understandable to an American audience. I'm pretty sure it works the other way around too.

Hollywood still have their own horror movies. It's just that they only create a remake of the Asian horror movies probably so that most people who understand English could watch it. However, we all know that most remakes from Asian movies are not that good as the original. They even change some parts for the story itself and makes the movie misleading sometimes.
