What are your thoughts on God?

I know that not everyone believes in God like I do, but I'm just wondering what your thoughts are? Are you on the fence to believing in God, totally don't believe, don't care? Haha. Personally, I believe in God 100% and think He is guiding force on my life. I take the Bible literally and try to follow it to the best of my ability... but what about you? (by the way, I realize this is a controversial topic, so let's keep it nice and not attack each other :))

God is my protector, He is my savior and I trust in Him my life, my future and everything that may happen on me. I live by and will die for His love!

I feel the same as you, Edna! Sometimes I feel like if I didn't have God, I just don't know what I would do. Faith really keeps a person going. And God is always faithful.

I belive He exists! The world would be meaningless if He didn't. I trust him and i belive that he is every step of the way with me, crying when i cry, supporting me when i need, beat me when i do wrong. I do not go to church very often, and i don't read the bible..but in my act day by day i try to make him like me :D

I agree! Whenever I am crying, I feel like God is right there with me! Or if I do something bad, I feel like God weeps for me. It's an awful feeling, knowing you disappoint God. And I think that living the word is very important. Witnessing through actions and stuff. Actions say a lot more than words! :)

I will say I believe in god and I cannot measure it like you do. How do you measure your beliefs? God will guide you to what? Why do you want to know our thoughts? Why are you messing with god? I thought people are not supposed to talk about god in nonsense, or this discussion really makes a lot of sense that I can't see yet?

I don't particularly measure my beliefs, but I guess if I had a scale, I would have to use the Bible for measurement. Is my life following a Biblical life? Am I trying to follow what the Bible says? etc. etc. And I believe God will guide me in my entire life! He will guide me to do whatever it is I am suppose to do, all I need to do is obey. He has guided me overseas to witness and to teach and He has guided me in times of sadness and heartache too. He is always guiding me, sometimes I just don't realize it. How am I 'messing with God'? This is not nonsense; talking about God is never nonsense. In fact, it is one of the greatest subjects to talk about. I think God loves being talked about :)

Kind of, yeah! Like Earth is a sort of Limbo stage, you know? And then when we die, we do leave our earthly bodies and are given new, perfected ones :)

On my part. Only God knows if he exists or not for no one has ever seen him. No one can say that he exists and no one can say that he doesn't.

Interesting response! I don't know if you believe in the Bible, like I do, but Adam and Eve saw God, as did Moses and Elijah and many people saw Christ and witnessed His miracles :)

I certainly do believe in God wholeheartedly. I don't know what i would do if I didn't have him in my life. He is always there when I need him, as he says in the Bible that he will never leave us or forsake us. I don't have to see him to know that he exists, as the Bible says he does, and that is good enough for me. I do read my Bible every morning, and by doing so, my mind is at peace as I know he is there, and I feel much closer to him than if I never read the Bible. I will have to say though that I haven't been as studious in reading the Bible like I should, bur when I got my new Bible, I decided to start reading it, and I have been reading it ever since. I intend to read the Bible through every year. I just wish that everyone knew about God as their lives would be so much better. Now, I am not saying I don't have problems, as I do, but they seem much easier to bear. Take care, and have a very good day.

All of us have a right to follow their own faith. Like you I also believe in God but not everyone does.

Before i took it as something about religion, which is far far away from my current life. now I guess more open to things, and I d rather take it as kind of faith that pumpes energy and hope for us.However, I wonder how do we draw the line between superstition in some less developed lands and believing in GOD?
