How much is too much for a haircut?

As both hairstylist and consumer, it can be difficult deciding the lines of how much should be charged on something that truly has no retail value. I often find eople who spend lots of money on a haircut just for the fact that it costs a lot of money, and I've seen people cheap out on haircuts even when they now it's gonna suck. I have a lot of freinds who definitely benefit from my career who would never go to a salon in the first place for the risk of wasting good money on a crappy cut, because skill is undefineable and debatable inthis undustry. I do hair in las vegas and charge about $25 US dollars for a men's cut and $45 for a womens cut, which is not a bad price at all. Some people think it's too much but for the most part, people accept that as standard here. SO I want to know what you think? How much would you be willing to pay for a haircut if you knew it was going to be good? How much would you pay for one that might be good?

since the haircut is good, i'll accept the standard payment because it requires a lot of creativity and patience when doing haircut and I admire people with those kind of passion. ^^

It's probably pretty good, but I've always been to places like SuperCuts where it's pretty cheap. I'm the kind who doesn't like to pay for much and a simple cut for me shouldn't go past $40. But that's just me. I live in California so in LA there are people who pay over $100 for a hair cut, but then it's normally worth it,

Here in Athens, a man's haircut is five euro. It's a very quick affair with an electric clipper. So, a good Chinese electric hair clipper costs five euro, or three euro for the cheapest ones. Guess who doesn't go to the hairdressers anymore!
