What will you choose a better work environment or a better salary package?

I find your post a little odd where I believe it is asking if one would consider a new place offering a much better and higher remuneration package or stay in one's current workplace where the environment is an established better one. If the new place has a more challenging work and better work prospect where I can have a chance of getting myself promoted over time, then I would not hesitate or second thoughts about joining this new place.

I thought that the salary package was more important that good work environment until I changed job few years ago. The salary was very good but environment in new company was extremely bad, so I changed job once again after few months. It was important lesson for me, because of that when I'm looking for better position in new company I check opinion about company environment.

I prefer the good environment because when you have a good environment, you are motivated with your work. And though there are times where you can get along with someone but that's part of the growth. So salary increase will always come later. Since we are all starting in a basic salary.

I prefer both working at the better environment as well as have a good salary. But because you like to me to choose well first at good environment as an employee anyway I can increase my income in other way. we need to take good care of our body as well as our health because this is the working machine and if this body became damage we cannot perform a good work. So what is the use of having a good salary if we cannot perform.And there is no company who will hire our service if we are sickly they cannot invest money to sickly people if their business will suffer. Better good environment at work and health first priority.

That is a hard question but, you are right - a good work environment will be better in the long run.

I would always want a better work environment wherein there is harmony with all the people you work with. I have officemates who have left our company and moved to another employer because of better salary package. When i asked how they are, they said, "i miss the old office if it werent for the financial needs of the family, i woulnt be moving out."

I would also choose the better environment, because this is the most important thing in any job. You can always get a raise or make money in other ways later, but a really good work environment can be very hard to find!

Well for my job...the envoiornment does not really make a diference. i am the marketing manager and i keep roaming...i mean visiting places. am hardly in the office. Even if i am in the office i am busy making reports and documents.

I would rather work in better environment than a better salary package in normal condition.But if i lack of money,i think i will choose a better salary package.there are different choices from the different condition.
