So.... my husband went behind me and read one of my books that I've been reading that I haven't picked up in a few months entitled 'Bag of Bones' by Stephen King. I got a little ways into it... but he's finished it!! He is wanting so bad to tell me what happened and how everything turns out, but I won't let him. I love Stephen King books... and this is like the umpteenth one I have read. Have you all read this book??

I love Stephen King books! I think they're great and Bag of Bones is not an exception. I appreciate what Stephen King did in this book, that he did not make it to be just another horror story but he also incorporated a love story and the different twists and turns that made the book much more interesting read.

I could tell that it wasn't going to be what I thought... but I haven't quite finished it yet. I do know that it is way deeper and darker than what it seems. Stephen King never ceases to amaze me!! Thanks for commenting!!

No I have not read this book. My husband and I have similar interests in books, but some books he won't read but he'll have me read to him. Those are usually the ones that if he were to read, would make him lose his interest fast. When I read it, he usually just listens and relaxes. I don't like Stephen King all that much, though I do like his movie Rose Red. It's not that I have anything against him, it's just his stories are usually too scary for me.

I understand... a lot of people find Stephen King to be too much. I love all of his tales. He said that when he wrote the first copy of Carrie... it scared him so bad (because he claims that most of his book ideas come to him in dreams)... that he buried it in the backyard!!! How crazy is that!! Thanks for commenting!!
