I read it and liked it.

I would have liked this book more if I hadn't read "Anna Karenina," which it is based on, in a contemporary setting!

I like reading classica; novels. I have read a number of classical novels, and I have also read Leo Tolstoy's "Anna Karenina". Wonderful novel. I have not read the book you mentioned. Thank you for the information.
