This is the first weekend we spend in a hotel were i bring my laptop, i used the connection inside of the hotel, when i was going to log in my facebook account, i got a problem, the error says that i am currently in different area where i used to, so they need a verification information. They asked about my informations, i was tested about who my facebook friends are true their photos. I have to guest from whose picture was the photo. I don't get the whole question right, so i have to do it again..then i have to go back the test page, but now, it says, i only have to do it once per hour...SO I DIDN'T OPEN MY FACEBOOK ACCOUNT AT ALL..NOTHING..

First time I heard about this. I moved to a different country almost a year agoa nd did not have to go through those security measures. Maybe facebook was not as strict as they are now. Hope I dont encounter that when I transfer again.

Oh! that was so unfortunate that you were not able to access the Facebook account. However, understand that these days there has been lot of identity theft, personification fraud and spamming, Hence it is necessary that we are safe when using Facebook. So, I think it is nice idea to increase extra security in Facebook account log in.

I've had this happen to me recently too and I didn't move anywhere. They were worried about phishing, said I tried to access a site that looked like facebook. Anyway I got all of mine right, but I worry about other people like my sister whose a celebrity and has thousands of friends she has never met and doesn't know their faces. You would think that facebook would just set up simple verification questions like who your high school mascot was or where your mom grew up like other sites. In my opinion that would be a better security feature and less of a hassle. Who knows what their friends look like?
