Did you accepted friend request in mylot even if you didn't know the person?

Hi careguarden! Yes, I do. Isn't that what social sites mean? We can not personally know everybody here in mylot. It's an international social site. Nevertheless, I still have one pending friend left in my request. My only reason for not accepting is that...it's been pending for two weeks and that friend request never started a discussion and never responded to any either. He/he never posted anything and has been inactive in a while. I just kept wondering why he/she signed up in mylot. Just one response please.

Maybe you have a point Ench. But in my opinion, I won't care if the people who want to be friend of me is not active nor they are not making any blogs, responses it is not the reason why I don't want to accept them. Even if they are like that, I always accept them and I don't care if they are active or not as long as I have plenty of friends to be mingled and to be communicate through discussions and responses.But, if that what you want, I respect your decision because we people are different likes and dislikes right?

hi careguarden! i don't think you understand my post. i actually accepted every single invitation that i received and was happy that people like to make friends with me. my point is there is this one invitation who up to now haven't posted anything--- not a single discussion, not one response and not a comment. i always check his profile every time i'm at mylot but nothing changes. his profile would say he logged in but no contribution still. he just keeps on requesting for friends. still i never deleted his invitation. i'm just waiting for him to post even a single word. like you said you want to have friends to mingle with. but how can you mingle with him? how can somebody be your friend when he stays invisible? i'm not very active myself as you see in my ranking but I post when i can.

Well obviously I don't actually know anyone that I add in real life but it's nice to add some friends that you can repeatdly join in discussions with. It helps when you want to discuss something as they're usually the first ones to notice your discussion.

Yeah, of course parrot. all of the friend request we approve, we don't know them because in mylot , it is the international or worldwide earning sites that all people can join and make friends here. Just like you, I will add a friend without hesitating if they are good or bad.

Yes, indahfth. Making friends and having friends online is a great advantage of our discussions why? because they have plenty of friends can response us and give credit to us.

I still accept them because for me the more friend you have the better, and anyway, you can delete them when ever you wanted. And for me, requesting you to become friend their friend, for me, It means that you are good one to have, but other want you as friend because your are beautiful or handsome. I do it too sometimes (guilty). Besides, you'll never know when you need one, right.

Yeah, I agree with you that we are here to make new friends then why we are doubting to accept friends request? they cannot harm us instead they can help us not in financial but in the sites we need and also they help us my response our discussions.any kind of people as long as they are good and honest , I don't want them to keep on waiting, I will accept them automatically because I believe that having a lot of friends online is better than no one.

We are the same anthony. Accepting friends request is the number reason why I am here in this site. I need to have lots of friends because I believe that friends online can help us not in the financial problem but in the other ways.

I prefer to add someone as a friend after becoming friend. well that's the point of adding as friend isn't it. contrary if I add a 100 strangers as friends i will not be able to know them nor will i be able to keep track with my existing friends.

Well, we are different philosophy in life Firo. for me, as long as they are not harm me, I still accepting them because in this type of situation I know that we are didn't know each other because we came from different place. So it is the way of starting to know them better if we accept them as a friend.

Yes, most MyLotters that I have ran into so far are decent people, so I do accept requests from people I do not know too. I don't see any harm in it...

Yeah, that's good puccagirl. Most of the members here are well educated that's why I don't hesitate to accept them as my friends all the time. Because I believe that they are helping us not harming us.

Usually, no. It depends on whether or not they share a mutual friend with me, and how many mutual friends they share. The more mutual friends, I know that the more of my friends "trust" them (or they might just be desperate for new friends or do exactly what I'm doing...trusting someone based on word-of-mouth rather than independent judgment.) Also, I look on their profile page to see if they've got a picture and how much information they have about themselves. If they put hardly any information on there, then I assume they're hiding something and don't add them.

Ah. Your kinda sensitive and think first before do action. While in my case, if somebody want to be friend on me, I don't hesitate to think and in that moment I will accept immediately because I think that they didn't harm me and they cannot get personal information about me if I didn't give them right?
