Can you honestly say that you haven't lied in your lifetime?

I don't think that anyone can truly say that they have never told a lie before. This is not a practice we like to admit to. Whether the lie is big or small, it is still a lie,. When we tell a lie we often have to tell another lie to hide what we have done. Honesty is still the best policy. If we are honest and truthful , we don't have to worry about lies. I can usually tell when someone is not being truthful with me. When a lie is told, you have to wonder why.

I think that everyone has probably told a lie in their lifetime whether it be a serious lie or a little white lie! I have no problem admitting that I have told little white lies in the past and they have certainly got me out of some very uncomfortable situations. As a rule though I don't like telling lies and I don't know if I can help it. I'm not very good at lying in anycase! I feel very uncomfortable about giving direct eye contact when I am lying and this is a sure sign to the other person that you are in actual fact telling porkies! I know it's not always the case but I guess the best thing to do is to never tell lies at all! Andrew

Humans lie. Be it good lies and bad lies, we all lie, yea? I've lied to my mum and my friends. A majority of them are good lies while a small amount are bad lies---exam results, LOL. I tell good lies to help patch my friends' relationships up and there are many more, which I cannot remember. As for your question, if somebody were to say yes, then they are lying. Ok, some people who lie through their teeth are those who are really professionals in lying and they are cunning.

if i say that i've never told a single white or black lie in my entire life, i'd be lying... so yeah , i've told lies again and again, only to feel guilty later on... i'm never comfortable telling a white lie,,, but i think i'm good at lying hehe, lol, because some people have told me so... well anyway, i'm not good at discerning lies from other people if i don't know them that well.... it's easy to tell if it's my sister or my child... but for other people, i think it would be difficult for me to be sure.

I think we are more susceptible to telling lies when we are kids and not that sure of how to protect ourselves we are caught doing anything against the likings of anyone. Then as we grow up, if we have made a habit of lying we continue doing that otherwise we may save ourselves from telling lies. Yes, I agree that there is no one on this planet who hasn't told a single lie during lifetime. Even I too have had my share of telling lies and I was caught red-handed many a times. However over the period of time, I have overcome this habit and now believe that speaking out the truth is much easier and natural to me unlike telling a lie. But still, there are occasions where I prefer to lie and believe me it is too very tempting. Hope I need some more work towards this and someday I would be honest to all. Cheers, theSids.

I think if someone dcomes here and says that they have never told a lie, then they fibing. I tell lies all the time. My kids think the tooth fairy exchanges teethe for cash, and they think that Santa Claus is the guy who buys, wraps and delivers gifts at christmas.

ha ha now this is what my answer is: nopes. i have lied in my life.. way too many times and i won't say i havent if i really did lie. :D

lying can always be part of our lives. we lie for reasons like we don't want others to get hurt that much,but still we didn't think much of those times we really hurt them the most when we did lie to them. but there are also times that it is good to lie instead to do the right thing. it just depends on the situations. for me,of course,i admit i ahve lied before.i do agree that it's human nature to lie at times but not to a point where you are always living with lies.that's not good enough. we should save ourselves and know the truth,cause truth will set us free!

I can't say that i haven't lied in my lifetime, and people who says that are liars themselves. Everyone lies and its just a habit for everyone to get out something they dont want to deal with. You can usually tell if a person i lying through the actions they do and if it matches what they say.
