Why is Facebook is so popular compared to Friendster etc?

Facebook has an easy to use navigation system, has a clean user interface , with popular applications such as Farmville etc it is fun for the people.

facebook has more benefits than of other social networkings, one of these is the chat application. othe social networks dont have that tool. I love facebook, i spent most of my free time facebooking. however, i also have other social networking accounts, yet i find facebook the best with almost everything. probably the only disadvantage withfacebook is that you cant customize its layout.

well for me its because its more simple and powerful.

Facebook seems easily navigable and user friendly to me. Unlike Friendster, I could save an image I need to on my computer. I hate the way friendster locks the pictures I've already uploaded. Could anyone give ideas how to grab those pictures in my profile albums? They're quite important to me.

I still have friendster account at this time but friendster is getting older.People always want something new and advanced and im sure sooner or later there will be some social networking site that will boom and will undertake facebook but for now its absolutely true that facebook is the hottest of them all.

I think, it's because facebook linked to every website all over the internet. that's wht makes facebook like a king of website!
