How does Wordpress work? Is it similar with Blogger

I tried to get an account with Wordpress, but it seems i need to own a domain first before i can create a blog in this site. How does Wordpress work anyhow...

its more complex but more powerful. it might be overwhelming to people who started in blogger.

No, you do not need to have a domain to make a Wordpress blog, you can do it without too. Wordpress has some similarities to Blogger, yes, but also some major differences. Anyone who can use Blogger can use Wordpress too, though!
