I recalled the 50 second Mcdonalds timer upon ordering ... but I only see it in the Television... when I visit their branches here, I could find the timers but they don't use it... I use my watch and it seems to me they don't live up to the promise. 50 seconds is relatively fast for me, I feel that 3 minutes serving time is still within fast food standards. What do you think? How fast should a fast food chain serve on the average? What's your opinion?

I love eating at fast food restaraunts once in a while and I think that they should take abou 3 minutes maximum to serve their food. I have expierienced times when it took forever to get my order.

I would say 5 minutes and under. I usually order a special order so I know that it can sometimes take a few minutes more. The McDonald's in my are are pretty quick but I have waited in line for more than 10 minutes before. Anything over 5 minutes and you are usually cutting into my schedule. I had never heard of the 50 second timer before.
