So it's been like 2 weeks since I've been trying to find a friend who will change my brake pads. A guy I went to school with was gonna do it for $40 but then he never got back to me. Then another guy I know was gonna do it but he is a drunk so Im not surprised that he screwed me over without as much as a phone call or return text. I did find a garage in my area that will put new ones on for $32.50. I have a warranty on them so I will be bringing him the new ones and then I have to return the old ones. I am very excited because i didn't think that a garage would do that for me. i called like 5 different places and the price started at $100 and finally down to $32.50. Now my car is overheating again too and we just had the thermostat changed back in June so I don't think it's that. I am gonna try to put some anitfreeze in there and see if that works. If not then I have no clue what to do cause im sure that won't be cheap to fix if it's a heating coil or something.

Glad you found a deal in getting your new brakes. I'd hate to know what else is wrong with your car. That's always one of my biggest fears is a repair I can't afford to make but can't afford to have a vehicle that doesn't run either.
