Does God really hate divorce?

I'm in the process of getting divorced, not my choice. Since my re-birth in Christ, my wife began distancing herself from me. She's says she believes and I take her at her word. Her actions speak differently, mostly focused on money and having a successful lifestyle. I've read about divorce from the Bible's standpoint. Doing some research, I came across a piece of information about where divorce is ok when an unbeliever chooses to leave the marriage. That's the type of situation it is. Also, does God want a marriage that isn't united through Him?

Yes, God does hate divorce but that's also right, you can have divorce if the person commits adultery. But ask God for it, for His advice. And if you do get divorced and plans to get married again, I think it would be pretty safe to ask God for a wife, a person who really comes from Him.

I think God always scold those person who really hate for other person and try to give pain. I think divorce is also a type of pain which is giving by a person to their husband/wife. I think it is not good. Because marriage is a sacred relationship between a wife and husbands. So how can a person break this relationship?

I don't think God hates divorce. It's our right to choose our partners as well as separate from them. I think God wouldnt like that a person who preaches His word is unhappy. If your wife is a non-believer then she should also have the right to find her own way, even if it's not Gods way. And you should be given the right to find a partner who believes in Him as strongly as you do. This could be better for the both of you. Good luck
