how it affects you?

I think this social networking site has now on its turn having a tremendous effect on most of us. It already took the place of most sites.. It helps us to keep in touch to the people who are well known to us and share some personal information with by enabling them to visit our profiles. It affects me by means of enjoying my day communicating with my friends. Seeing their everyday activities and posts.. and some of my friends use it in earning extra incomes so facebook really helps us a lot in our communication.
How about you? How it affects your everyday life? Do you think we are getting so much benefits from it? or there are some disadvantages also? Share what`s on your mind. :)

but why? i bet you are not that active in that site that`s why you disagree hehehe.. but still, it really helps us a lot to stay in touch w/ our friends. :)

I think it depends how you use it most. but for me, I do have dissadvantaged about to using facebook, because too many wasting time!

personally, it does not affect me. i'm never had an account with a social networking site. never had a friendster account nor a facebook account. just too juvenile for my taste. not saying that those who have fb accounts are wasting their time, just saying that these social networking sites aren't for everyone.
i can think of a thousand and one ways to do online.

Hmm I don't frequent Facebook although I have an account with them. I use MSN to chat with my mates, it's better that way. So, it doesn't affect me much :)

Yes it has really affected me too. I would get hooked up and spend more hours just being online there in that social network site. I would notice also that people are exchanging words at each other whether it may be good or a bad one. So it means it has also affected them much coz they will spend also more time logging on there and wait for the response of the other person based on what they have posted.

their are a Local area networks (LANs),typically reach across a single home, whereas
wide area networks (WANs),across cities, states, or even across the world thats you can communicate each other that can you visit your profile or you can sites took each other by using internet.,

yes .. since joined in the facebook, I can connect again with my friends when the time of high school, junior high and elementary school. Incredible. Compared to other social networking sites, I would find it useful when they are on facebook

Hi Anne, welcome to MyLot.
Though I'm not that active in Facebook, but I'm able to finally ask how's life going, and what they are doing, to all my friends that I haven't seen for more than ten years. I just recently found some of them on Facebook and I had to introduce myself properly again in case they have forgotten me because the last time we saw each other was when we were a teen. I'm glad to know how they are doing with their life, and that they can see what I'm doing too. But some of my family still staying away from Facebook in order to concentrate on their job and study.

facebook is my social life since i am away from my family and old friends. I contact them through FB. It is an advantage for me in this part.
The disadvantage side was... Before I was addicted to some FB games, but I decided to quit since it does nothing but wastes my time! So now, I am free from those games. I don't even want to open the applications anymore.

Yes technology make human progress, no one can stop the technology go on. every body should be influence by the power of technology including old men and children. network is a good example bring you and me lots of convenience, but on the other side it give human a challenge obscenity and Violence spread all over the world pollution everywhere, including all children and schools the culture of human was throw far away and the willing of people become thin and short that may be a bad idea for the society,
