Do you read or listen to self-development or motivational books?

Just wondering how many of you subscribe to resources that increase your personal development or at least motivate you to get ahead in life. I've read few books and listened to Deepak Chopra, Tony Robbins, Robert Kiyosaki, Steve Pavlina, etc., they are very inspiring and often a good read. They share different techniques on how to become happy, healthy and wealthy. Few years ago, when I was just recovering from failed relationship, I joined Silva Method. It helped me a lot to get back on track and learn few techniques which are effective. But I haven't been able to practice the methods and meditate as often as I should and so I've lost the method's effectiveness. Yeah, read them, heard them... their teachings are good tools ONLY if they are applied! My other question is, did it make any difference in your life after reading these books?
