What do you think of all the "SURVIVAL" shows?

I'm seeing more and more of them everyday it seems. Survivorman, Man Vs. Wild, Dual Survivor, Man Woman Wild, The Colony and the list goes on. I find hem very entertaining and a great wealth of knowledge but I have to wonder why suddenly the huge interest in survival related shows? Am I missing something?

I don't mind them. I have a friend that has recorded each one. The ones you have listed I don't care for too much. I like the Jerseyilicious, The Cardashians, Survivors, and that type. Ones that show a completely different life than the one I lead. I find these interesting.
