Planning out the Trip

I don't get to travel as much as I'd like but when I do I can't help but to start planning what I'll pack, what I want to buy that I think I'll need to take, etc. I get so excited I have every moment thought of and planned out even if that's not what we really do and I'm packing 2 days ahead, but my husband will come home the afternoon that we're leaving stick stuff in a bag and be ready to go. Is it just a girl thing or a planner personality thing, or just me? I'm leaving next week and can't wait.

You sound like a sensible person that is well organized. It is wise of you to plan in advance what you are going to take on your trip. Then if you need to buy anything extra you will have time to purchase it. Your husband might forget something or get in a panic at the last minute. I don't think it is a girl thing but you do very well to be so super organized. You will hopefully have a wonderful trip. I like to write a packing list a week or two before I go off traveling. I will buy a few extra things to add to my list. Then about four days before my trip I will try putting it all in my backpack. If it is too much stuff I will whittle it down. I have to carry my stuff and my disabled son's and my baby daughters. The most important things are my son's catheters and his soy formula powder. I hope that you will have a fantastic trip.
