I do not understand, how someone who has a family cans let states do not require an insurance policy. And how important protection function for a person or a family. All they think about was how hard to spend money to pay the premium at this time. When in fact the benefits that can be felt very much. It may be true by setting aside a small portion of income at this time felt so heavy, but returned again to the concept than not saving at present; the same will also be more severe if no savings are anticipated from the results. What do you think about my opinion??

Having insurance and or savings especially while having a family is another way of securing safety nets. Although many do realize the importance, sometimes life throws you curbs whereas it does become highly impossible to obtain no matter how hard you try. Me for instance, I have been a single parent of two for many years and although I had very good secure careered jobs the insurance for instance here in the US is quite expensive. My last policy I paid $475.00 per month for the monthly premium. This insurance did not cover doctor visits and I had to meet out of my own pocket every year $50,000 before the insurance would pick up 50% of any cost, and this my friend was a yearly responsibility. Thank God for a healthy family. This was a requirement at my job we could not modify the plan in any way. If I wanted to get my insurance plan, and believe me I worked in the medical field for many years and know the differences, well my own plan for 3 of us would have cost me $1,500.00 a month. This is why Obama is working diligently on the health-care reform as medical coverage in the US is outrageous. Especially for families with children, mortgages, school tuition's.. etc..

Forgot to add the life insurance plans are a must, however another area whereas in the US it is also expensive, but not impossible, as one needs to think about just enough coverage for final costs versus no coverage at all. So Life insurance is an absolute must.

People who say that are pretty short sighted, I would say. But there are people like this everywhere, and unfortunately they only learn their lesson once something happens to them, and they are not insured. I really think it is a shame that so many people do not understand the benefits of insurance!

Hi, From my point of view, getting an insurance is kind of long term investment. You may not see the good side at this point of time as you have to keep paying every month or yearly basis. But when comes to the fact,an accident happened ,then you may think of your insurance. They are plenty of insurance type in the market and always get the best that suit for you.YOu can make comparisons between several insurance companies before getting one for yourself. For me, I am having a life insurance plus medical card for myself. It is a kind of protection for me and also my family. At least, when something bad happened to me (touchwood**), it helps to lesser my family's burden.

For me insurance is more important but the money is lack to avail of or they want food is the first priority than insurance.

In my opinion, having insurance is actually redundant. Though it acts like a savings account for us, setting aside a small amount of money to pay their premiums, but we have to keep paying for the next 25years. If nothing happen to us during that period of time, that's good. But if we happen to be hospitalised or have any forms of medical surgery excluding plastic sugery, all the premium we paid in the past will be gone. That means we won't be able to get back the full sum by the end of 25years. That's provided we are lucky to survive in the 25 years. Why buy insurance when we don't know what's going to happen tomorrow. Rather than scrimping and saving to pay for premiums, I will prefer to spend.
