What Is Your Greatest Blunder?

They say that we learn from our honest mistakes. It may be funny, but we just have to accept the way it is. People may laugh at us but we just have to deal with it.
Here is my story. On my way to work, I do not usually wear my office shoes yet while driving. I feel more comfortable just wearing slippers. I just wear my shoes as soon as I have parked my car in the building. I usually leave them inside my car or ask my helper to leave it in trunk. Even if I am in a hurry most of the time, I am just confident that it is just there whenever I want to change.
Then, one Monday morning when I just had my car parked and was about to change, I noticed that my shoes were not in the car!
I could have driven back home but it will take me for another hour and my Monday meeting was about to start! Good thing, I have another pair of closed sandals in the trunk. I have no other choice but to attend my meeting wearing only those pair of sandals.:)

I am sure that wasn't how you wanted to start your day off but it was kinda funny. Mine would be that I trusted someone and then they took me for literally everything I had. It was a company my husband and I did work for for over a year and they spent that time getting to know us and gaining our trust in them. As soon as they had it, they took us for everything. Every penny we had. Of course, they had so nicely helped us get into a nice large home and they took it also. Luckely, we had a rental home in a small town not to far from where we lived and we were able to get our renter out so we could move our selfs and our 6 kids in. 3 bed, 1 bath home. It was horrible but we all have learned a good lesson. We are not as greedy as we were and we seem to appreciate things more than we ever have before.

As i remember we went up to the church and I'm wearing a nice dress, cutie sandals and a unique bag. Walking, chatting to a lot of people. On our way home, while walking i noticed that something different. Then i found out that my sandals are broken. But luckily im with my sister and my mother. So i just waited my mom to come back and wait for her in getting my slippers.
