Lenovo S10-3 ideapad netbook camera

I still can't figure out how can I use the camera of the S10-3 Lenovo netbook for other purpose. Is the camera for VeriFace only? How about if I want to use it as webcam or for taking pictures, what should I do? Do I have to install a new software for it? Anyone out there who can help me please, thank you very much!
