getting more visits to blog

okay i have a blog and its good but i don't get to many people visiting it, yes i do somethings to push people to it and thoses that read it like it but i want more visitors i want to be able to get maybe a million a month. sounds like a lot but its not, so can anyone help me with that sometips maybe in getting more people to my blog.

You can try free web directory submision and free article submission for your blog.These are "friendly"for search engine" and you can promote your blog.Also,if you have free time,post comments in blogs and forums with same subjects like your blog(if you choose blogs and forums with high PR is better)
I know...this is theory and practice will killing you lol(this is a proverb from my country),but in these ways you can promote your blog! I hope that my answer will help you!
