Dreams turning into reality

In the past several weeks, a former classmate of mine have offered to me a job. Since I have a job at the moment, he'll wait for me to finish my contract with my current employer. Actually I fond the offer quite overwhelming. The position is quite high... too high... the salary though not much compared to other rates but almost twice than what I am receiving now. Yesterday, I had this nagging thought in my head to check my journal. For quite sometime I have been keeping a journal of my dreams. On my April 29, 2009 entry says: "I was in a large, dimly lit room. it was an office with cubicles for the employees. It was too large that it seems it was a cave that was converted into an office. It happens to be the office of own of the biggest real estate development company here in our place, which is owned by the family of a good friend of mine. I was working in that office in my dream" I did not mention his name here, but the 'good friend' I'm referring to in my dream is the very person that has offered me the job. I have dreamed about this over a year ago and it's about to come true. Is this a case of clairvoyance? Do I have a gift or what? Sometimes I like this ,my dreams coming true... but sometimes it scares me.

Ah, oddly it happens to me as well. I don't know how it really works but perhaps in our dreams we crave for something and we unknowingly do stuff to obtain it. Although I've had dreams where I did some stuff I don't want to do. I don't want those to happen.

Wow! Congratulations on your job offer. That is great news for you. It is really amazing that you dreamed this happening over a year ago. It just goes to show that if you have something firmly fixed in your mind, even if it is at a subconscious level where you are not aware of it all the time, you can make these things become reality. Writing down dreams is a fantastic idea. I have never done that before. Do you write them down as soon as you wake in the morning, or if you wake in the middle of the night after a dream, do you take notes on it and then go back to sleep?

Thanks, Bill. I often (but not all the time)write my dreams down as soon as I wake up in the morning. Although I tried putting my journal within reach when I sleep so that as I can write my dream down whenever I wake up in the middle of the night... I'm just too lazy to do it, hehehe. If there's a dream that I failed to write when I wake up and it still lingers in my memory, I write it down as soon as I could. One thing about this dream though is, I have completely forgotten about this long ago. I never have thought about it even the first time I heard the offer. It just came into my mind some days after my friend told me that this office where I will soon work will be co-located with his call-center business. When I checked my journal, I wrote there "cubicles for employees"... I haven't seen an actual call-center work area aside from the ones I've seen on TV, but I think that's how I picture a call-center work area. This particular dream seems found its way to reality... (I hope :))

I've had a couple of dreams come true, kind of does weird things to my head, but it doesn't scare me.
