After their impressive victory over Florida can the Crimson Tide hold on to win another National Championship?

I think Alabama can win another National Championship. I think they need to step up their game though. Florida was in control the 2nd half of the game they just didn't put any points on the board. Mark Ingram has to have more than 87 yards rushing if Alabama is going to hold on to win. Its a tough road ahead. THey have to play solid for an entire football game not just get the lead early and coast like they did against Florida. Any more dismal performances like the one against Arkansas may spell disaster for Alabama.

To Alabama's credit, both Florida and Arkansas are pretty good teams. Florida's defense is third or fourth in the conference and especially tough against the run - hence Ingram's low output. Arkansas has the type of offense that exploited the Tide's inexperience. This week provides another test, but the real challenge will come in the finale against Auburn. I have simply been impressed by Alabama's ability to "man up" and find a way to win. As a Georgia fan, I have seen none of that characteristic from my disappointing Dawgs.

After the loss the Tide had at South Carolina this year I think they need to change their game plan alltogether. The running game hasn't been as strong as it should be. Tehy needed a loss to let them know that they weren't unstoppable. After their off week I look for them to pick up the pace against LSU. They could possibly run the table and end back up in the SEC championship game but that is a tall order with Auburn on their schedule. A lot has to fall in place for Bama to repeat! GEAUX TIGERS !!!!!!!!!
