what is your stand regarding squatting ? the Lina law..that protects our squatters giving right for them to have proper allocations...though many of them are getting used to this and have them tagged as professional squatters why? because they go back to the areas they are not supposed to make a home and worse the homes that are allocated to them by the government are being sold, rented by them...what is your opinion to this how can we stop this?

For the record, it's informal settling. It's really offending and improper to call them squatters.
Anyhow, just like the notion of those from the province, they were the ones, or offspring of those who thought that living in the city is better than living in their hometowns. They're actually wrong since there are a lot of things they can do in the province to earn a living plus the cost of living there is lower than that of the city. My point is, the government should show them what business or living they could do in their provinces and give them a little capital for them to use.

Hi acey
I really don't like squatters who rant and hurt other people for the land who is not really theirs. Though there is a low that protects them, I personally believe that law is the one that keeps on making squatters believe that they are powerful and can't be moved. I also don't like some squatters who rant about the homes they were relocated at. They come in Manila with no home, and now they are given a free house and still they rant about people. These kind of people should think not just once, but twice and three times. The one that are giving them their homes are not just the government, but other filipino people as well who works 24 hours a day, 7 times a week and still isn't getting enough salary for their own families. How to stop? revise the law! LOL!
