Why do poeple like Korean and Japanese dramas??

Hi,
I see a lot of girlz who watch Korean and Japanese drama, but I dont get it why do they like these dramas??? I wanna know is this only in my society or its a common thing??? tell me plz
and I wanna ask u have u ever seen any Korean or Japanese drama?? ^^

What I see, mostly Korean and Japanese drama that is a love story. And it also is targeting mostly teens to watch the drama. With love story that is sometimes very touching souls, so many teenagers in my country like drama from Korean and Japanese. I've watched a few Korean and Japanese dramas. And some have a good story.

I don't like any dramas but I have watched parts of Mexican ones (or Brazilian, Colombian, I don't know, lets say hispanic) mainly to mock them and have fun because the acting is ridiculously funny and the plot sucks too. About Asian dramas, I have no idea but I guess I won't like them so I'm not interested in watching any.
