I used to hate being asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, probably because for a while I had no clue. When I was little I wanted to be a doctor, then in high school I wanted to be a journalist. Now I would love to teach. I wanted to find out how many people are today what they wanted to be when they were younger. What did you want to be when you where a kid? Then when you were in high school. Now what are you? Do you say that's your career or do you just think it is your job?

Simply, I want to be everything. lol!!! As a young child, I had wanted to be a teacher, particularly of English and literature. As time progressed, I wanted to be a computer programmer, then a writer. And now I am that writer. Writing is my job. It is my career. Writing is my life.

Lol. I'm really glad you found what you wanted and know you accomplished it. I am quite the same, except I wanted to be a writer now I was to teach English or journalism. I love to write but I am very scared that I make it to much into a job. I do not enjoy myself when I am writing for another establishment or for money. But I understand the love for writing, maybe not as much as you do. I'm glad you still love it even when doing it as a job.

I don't make much writing, thus far, $400-$450 a month tops, but it works for me right now because of my bad health. All of that is from writing for online sites. I'm also in the middle of writing my first novel (that I can get to go to the printers), and I'm on page 140 of that.
