It's a dream to buy a house

My friends suggested me to buy a house to pay limit prepayment,then to pay monthy payment, which is mortgage. Now it's fashion for people who don't enough money to pay the house, which is way, however it's also very hard for poor people to buy house use this way. Why? It's very very hard to pay monthy payment when lose the economy source. For me, I don't like to use this way to buy house, it will be very hard for me, so I have to rent house to save enough money to buy a new one belongs to me. Maybe it should take many years to realize my dream, I have to wait, right? Mylotters, do you have a good suggestions to buy a house? Thank you for your sharing.

Me and my partner started paying for our mortgage 3 years ago. We are doing quite as well at the moment, and we try not to lose our job and even get a part time or an over time at work. But another thing we is, we have 3 bedrooms in our flat, a shower room and toilet, kitchen, and living room. The other room, we use it as a store at the moment though we do have a little store inside our kitchen. We use the other normal bedroom and rent the master bedroom to a guy who is working as a rugby manager next to where we live. We keep renewing his contract every 6 months and so far, he have lived with us for 3 years. The best thing is, the total of his rent every month is actually a total of how much we need to pay every month for the flat, and we are glad we made a decision to get the master bedroom rented. Maybe you can do the same thing too, but I can understand your own reason. It is hard when we lose our source of income, so some people rather wait until they have saved enough money to buy house. Hi kodukodu84, thank you for your good suggestions. Why I said it's so hard to pay monthy payment for the house, I saw my best friend who was for her mortgage for her house now, I saw she and husband very hard to pay the house monthy. Why? She had a 2 years old daughter, and she should take care of her children, only her husband have the enconomy source and support the whole family, so I saw her is very hard to mortgage for her house. I worry about one day it happened to me too. It seems that you got a good way to have a best neighbour and save some money to pay for the flat. Yes, I completely agree with your ways.

Yeah, I think buying a house is a dream for most of us, and not each of us can make it.
Nowadays, the popular way is to pay for it a 30-40 percent first, and then to pay a certain payment monthly. Once we take such a way, we become house slaves.
It's pretty hard for a common person with moderate incoming to buy a house. For me, I don't know when I can have my own.
But, now renting a house is not a good opinion, either. The renting fee is becoming higher and higher, maybe the fee is enough for the monthly payment for the house we buy.

I completely agree with you. My previous plan is pay at a 30-40 percent first, then to pay monthy. However I saw my best friend who live a hard life to pay her monthy pay for her own house, which made me change my plan. I made a agreement with my husband, we should work hard and save money to buy house.Maybe it needs five years or ten years to get my own house, however my life will have a direction when I have my dream.

Buying a house.......a dream that everyone has!!!!!!!!!!. Some people are so lucky that they are born with their own house. Blessed are those Parents and Grandparents who worked hard and built a house and property so that their coming generations will lead easy life. Unfortunately I am not one of them.I have already spend half of my life, dreaming about my own house, don't know when my dream will come true.....but as they say, if you want to fulfill your dream, then you should have a dream.......

Hi, you said what I want to say. Some of my friends who don't worry the house problem, because their parents have enough money to buy a new house for him or her to marry, they don't have any pressure to consider the house. However, I am not a fortunate person of them too, I am from a poor family, I should against my capacity when I grow up, so it's my big dream to get my own house, a big dinning room, bedroom. HI,
Buying a dream house is everyone's dream.
At last, my husband has bought a house for us. It is not a big house,
just nice to accomodate three of us,suitable for small family.
From my point of view, buying a house is a big decision and
have to really take the money into consideration.
Apart signing the agreement, few charges need to be made and apart
from that, every month has to pay for the houisng loan and not
a small amount of money.
However, I don't like to rent a house, because that is not my own house,
I am like taking care of other people's house, I better
save that money and once I am capable to buy my own house, then I will
do it.

Hi shia88, it's very nice that you own your house. I am considering I should earn and save more until enough to buy a house. When have our own house, we can decorate use our way, if rent a house, we don't have any right to redesign the house, which is most difference. I hope I can buy my own house and live with my families together one day.

I think a lot of people have to wait a while before they can get their own house, so this is not something unusual. I think I will be able to buy one in a few years only, but I am already saving a lot to make that come true. So my best suggestion would be to make a long term plan and start saving for it already, no matter how little you are able to save at the moment. Any small amount will help too!

It's good that you have your plan, hope you can get your own house as soon as possible. Yeah, when we have a dream to buy a house, it needs several years to achieve, we should have a definite plan and save money.

Yes, buying a house is everyone's dream. I am only twenty however I would love to be able to afford a home of my own. Not until probably in my late twenties when I start a career and hopefully become married so two incomes (my significant) and I could buy a home. I hope so but the prices are so expensive. I do not know any suggestions except to save $$$$ :)

Other than taking out a mortgage & or saving up a sizable down payment are the only ways to go. Unless you inherit a sizable amount of money sometime soon.
Sadly here renting a house costs about as much as owning one!

It's not a very expensive to rent house here, however it real should against the location, if in downtown, the charge of renting is very expensive, it's true as much as owing one. If in countryside,it's not expensive to rent, but house is not new. Hope you can fulfill your dream too.

Yes it is also my biggest dreams of my life. But I think it is not easy to purchase a home in present. Because it is too costly and you may earn a huge amount of money. But it is my biggest dream. And I don’t know when it will be fulfilled. But I always work hard to fulfill my dreams.

Yeah, I do agree with you that it can be a big dream to buy a big house at the moment now for me. As far as I am concerned, I just have got a so wonderful job to pay for a wonderful house. If I want to own a house of myself.There are a lotof things should be done by me.I need work ahrder and harder. Try my best to earn money. So I usually regard owning a house is a dream for me now.

Yeah, Shanghai is developed city, so I can guess it's very very difficult for a normal worker to buy house there. I am Chinese too, I am working in Shenzhen City, it seems some place to buy house is also very expensive, buy a house and live in Shenzhen is our dream, it's impossible for me to afford a house now. yes,you are right.But in our society, we must face the reality. Most of them want you to do like these and you have to, just because of their old thinking. many young people feel pressure when reaching the marriage, and maybe the only way is that the mortgage.

Wow, it's a good idea to build a house as per your design, my younger brother really like to build a house at countryside, because he don't need to pay any charge to the government. Do you live countryside too?
