YouTube won't open using Chrome

I used to open YouTube using Google Chrome because I've reading raves about Chrome being fast so I definitely tried it. True it was but only for a while. I had issues with crashing and not opening sites properly so I had it uninstalled and reinstalled. After reinstalling it, I can't open YouTube anymore. I tried opening YouTube incognito and only then will Chrome open it. Has anybody else experienced this?

Never had problems myself with Chrome browser, only ever use it now as I find it a lot faster than firefox that I was using before. I don't seem to have problems with You Tube opening or with the playing of the videos on there or any other video sites, so cannot imagine what the problem is. perhaps its the flash player that needs updating. If I would you, I would try re-installing Chrome and see if that does the trick.

Hi jason! Thanks for the tip. I tried uninstalling it then had it reinstalled but it never worked. It might be due to the flash player. I can now open YouTube using Chrome.

I am not a Chrome user but have read a great many reviews that although members upgrade there are certain other java and script areas that need upgrading as well. So that is what I would recommend that you visit the Chrome website and run a few tests to assure all other drives and java too are upgraded. Good luck.

Hi HWG! :) Thanks for dropping by and for sharing your tips. Sounds good. Will try it too. I'm not much of a Chrome fan but I just checked it since I've been reading how fast it is. Just want to experience it myself. :)

Sometimes chrome create problem during surfing. And many websites are not open for long time. And chrome gives a message of kill pages. I think sometimes due to slow speed of internet it can be happen. So try YouTube on another browser. I also face this problem many times on chrome. So now I used chrome very less. And now I have used Opera.

Hi anurag3786! On your suggestion to use another browser - Yes, I'm using Firefox when I open YouTube. It's just that when I work with Quickbooks Online, it is also best to use Chrome (I've had problems with accessing it thru Firefox) and I' d rather open multiple tabs than open multiple browsers. :) I appreciate your sharing your thoughts and tips! :)
