What makes you frustrated at work?

I love my job but we can't do away with frustrations at work. I just couldn't understand why top management would ask us to come up with policies and when we have come up with one, they themselves break it. To cite an example was the moving out of equipment out of the office. One day you would just be surprised that it has been moved out without any proper documents. How frustrating indeed but what else could we do? They are the bosses. Rule number 1 says, "The boss is always right". and rule number 2 says, "If the boss is not right, refer to rule number 1". I wonder how can I deal with bosses like them?

I get frustrated at work when our system is offline. Like recently our system is having an upgrade so we are experiencing offline status often. I get frustrated because it slows down my work and it just piles up on my other work.

whoa! we're in a computer age and when everything goes offline, all we could do is sit and wait till our work piles up. what a waste of time it is at times. we do get frustrated too when we experience brown-outs... we feel like we're stuck inside an oven (since there would be no aircon) and can't do anything since most of our files are stored in computers. spending the time talking with colleagues at times make my jaw feel like it wanted to fall off. ouch!

What frustrates me at work? Pressures from my boss or management and co workers who are backbiters or gossipers. Such is frustrating because you want to work and to have a successful result, but there are just people who are making your day hard because of unnecessary things. I have this boss then who always change his mind. They come up with a policy and then change again after a while. It is as if we have a trial and error every week. When you suggest something, he does not listen. It is frustrating too when your co workers are mindful of what you do and they do not mind their work. I hate it when they are gossiping about other people's lives without seeing themselves.

you made me smile. at times we do experienced the fickle-mindedness of our bosses. we already prepared the documents and ready for serving when they changed their minds and wanted to procure another model of equipment or items. all i could do is smile and whistle hahaha. thanks for sharing. at least now i know that i'm not alone in this predicament.
