Being the president, Noynoy is always the target of the any protester of any sector of society that feels it is being abused or neglected. Because protests doesn't end here in our democratic country, let just say that this incident is only a sampling of what can happen in the next 6 years. I guess Noynoy gave the 'democratic' and 'safe' answer in lieu of the protest incident. After all, he cannot contest the protest itself - it would be maligning the legacy left by his own mother and the same vision he carried during the campaign. What I would like is to see how the the president, in his long 6 years of service ahead of him, can change after he had been the target (or in the many cases being burned in form of an effigy)of numerous protests in the future.

to protest is part of our rights. i don't mind them as long as the protesters do it peacefully.
