My daughter came home almost unconscious. She was attending mass at the church Sunday night, when all of a sudden what she saw around is all but darkness. She nearly collapsed, when quite revived she rode on a trike and went home. I was screaming seeing her very pale with stretched legs and arms and locked jaw. She can no longer talk, my son tried to revive her, letting her drink water and rushed her to the hospital. With her CBC found out a very low hemoglobin and needed to be blood transfused. My daughter is a very active teacher, prior to this she was invited by her previous school employer to host an activity held at a famous mall. Being the emcee she was not able to take her lunch and merienda, though she took her breakfast but the program ended already dinner time. Stress in teaching, getting up very early at 4 am as her classes starts at 7 am and had to travel from Cavite to Makati. All of these had come together that led her to collapsed. After series of tests, she was confined and have blood transfused. Findings ulcer made her hemoglobin dropped down. After three days of confinement we're back home, she's fine now resting and be back to her classes next week. Thanks God and to her loving friends who stood by her and partly helped in raising the amount needed for her confinement. Friends can really be counted on when needed.

Yes vitamins and iron meds are just the cure, my daughter has low hemoglobin since high school, she just took meds for a while and then stopped as she don't want the taste. Hope your son will take his vitamins and for sure his hemoglobin will rise up to normal. Thanks jovie for the response. Happy mylotting.

Wow bing..... it's a good thing that you caught it in time! Hopefully it'll never ever happen again. Glad she's better but that had to be one heck of a scare! Maybe she needs to take something with her just in case she misses a meal again so it won't happen again, like a candy bar or something.

Yes dear Cats long before she was diagnosed already of low hemoglobin with iron deficiency but she's refusing to take iron med due to it's bad taste. She used to escape meals due to her hectic schedules, now she's learning, taking meds and food on time. Thanks Cats for the response. Regards to your mom. Hugs...
