I guess that makes sense. If a student is stressed about grades then they tend to study more. But I also think that stress might make students want to give up too. For me, I am really stressed out about school and it has been making me read my textbooks more often. I don't think stress is a good motivator for studying though. Students (like me) should study more but they also should be happy.

Very interesting study, I think it makes much sense. For example, I rarely study and experience no school associated stress. The stress in this study is most likely caused by the pressure of society and some parents to be an A+ student or else your a failure. So the people who are most likely to fall for this kind of pressure are probably going to be stressed out and want to study more often to fit in and not be a failure.

Well that is rather fair all things considered. I mean, considering the fact that they would study in the first place, they would stress over the time of studying. Those who do not study, will not really stress that much. I mean that they are not going to worry about studying, so that is going to eliminate some stress. I think that with school there will always be some stress, but with the amount of students that study, there will be even more stress. Of course, that study is rather true to life. The students who pile on all of the work and focus hard, are more prone to freaking out over school. While those who simply do not care, are the one's who really are less prone to freak outs. At least that is the way that it was in my school. Your experiences many in fact vary, but in general, that is what I have seen.
