I have a passion to observe peoples action in the daily walk of life. It may be good or bad I do not know. But I enjoy that. I observed that.... Some people answer on the mobile with their Left Ear and some use the Right Ear. God's creation is wonderful that he has given less hearing capacity to one side of the ear to every human being. Which Ear do you use..... Share your comments please...

This indicates that your right ear can give you more volume when compared to your left year. It all varies from person to person.

I am a leftie so obviously I use the left ear. I can also hear on my right as well, but since I am already left handed, it is just natural for me to pick up the cell phone in my stronger hand. What you have to do is to observe what is their dominant hand. I really do not know what the ambidextrous ones do, they probably switch their cell phones from one hand to another.

Hi, busybee10! This is interesting, friend! You are a really good observer. I usually use my right ear, but I think essential reason is I'm accustomed to use right hand to pick up the phone Is it ear or hand?

Yes,it is EAR and not the hand. That means your right ear is more clear when compared to your left ear. thanks for your good comments.

Interesting... i thought that is relative to the location of the phone,or whichever hand is free to pick it up. I automatically answer the phone with my left hand/ear because 1.) the phones at home/office are generally situated to my left side, and 2.) I am right handed and thus want to keep my dominant hand free in case I need to write something. I just remembered now that I sometimes switch the phone to my right ear when I can't hear the other party clearly. But I didn't account it to "bad" hearing capability to one of my ears.

That means your left ear gives you less volume of hearing than the right. Nice to note your comments. Thanks.

I always use the left ear. Maybe coz I’m right-handed, its easier for me to hold the phone with my left hand against my left ear and keep the right hand free, for writing anything or just like that. Many a times I’ve made an effort to hold the phone to my right ear… I somehow feel disoriented with my right hand blocked by holding the phone… the left hand as it is cant write anything so after a few seconds, the phone is back to my left ear.

Its funny reading though your commentspeople left you that so people had to stop and think about which ear they use the most. I didnt even have to think about it. I use my right ear. I think because I am right handed I tend to do most everything with my right side. When I am forced to talk for along time (I hate talking on the phone) and one side gets tired then I do switch ears but it feels weird like I cant hear quite as well.

Hi, I am right handed and I guess I am doing most of my things with my right hand and right ear. Most of the time when I pick up a call, I will use my right ear, only when my right ear feel hot, then I will change to my left ear. Maybe I should notice my husband since he is a left handed, he eat and write with his left hand.

I use the left ear as well, I feel more comfortable using that side. Or maybe, I do so because of what I read on e-mails before that the left ear is preferrable to use rather than the right ear because of radiation affecting the brain. And, on the internet, there is no proof that this idea is correct. But then again, I'm using my left ear ever since because I can feel how durable it is for longer conversations.

I think if the person is left handed, the left ear will be often used in talking over the phone and vice versa. :) I am left handed so I usually use my left air but if I am doing something or I want to do something while answering the phone, I will be using my right ear.

I do always answer the calls in my right ear but after 5 minutes, I transfer it to my left ear because it gets sensitive. My mom advised me to have it checked but I haven't got the time plus the money yet. Good discussion, bzBee.

Yes your mother has give you the correct advice. May be some problem with the ear drum.Hence try to use less and see that you do not get into trouble and after you have sufficient money get it checked.

Hi busy, That was really informative to me. I never knew or realized that we are able to hear more clearly form one ear than the other. As for attending the calls on the cell or phone, I usually use my right ear. I though that this was because I am a right handed person and pick up the receiver or the cell phone using my right hand which makes it easier to reach for the right ear. I would try to figure out if this is the reason or the one that you mention. Thanks for letting us know this fact.

Interesting subject. I use my left ear when I'm on the phone. I don't like using my right ear. I have used my right ear a couple of times but had to switch to my left ear after a few seconds because it feels uncomfortable.

I talk on the phone for hours coz I have a lot of free credit with my friends and that's the reason i change my ears all the time: they start hurting me from the pressure of the receiver. That's why i change from right ear to the left one and back.

Nice to hear that you are really enjoying the discussion on the phone. But limit yourself as everything has limitations. This is only a friendly advice -any how I am no one to you to give an advice. But please check only one ear has more volume to hear than the other.Tell me...
