Just curious about this, would you return the money or keep it? I have heard a lot of stories that some cab drivers return the money or bags that their passengers left. Some didnt bother to return. What about you?

Oh wow, I wouldn't know what to do haha! but I wouldn't be brave enough to take it as well, but I thought again, so if I go to the nearest police station and report it to them then let them handle it instead, would I not think The police officers will actually divide it to themselves? I won't take the money because that will makes me a thief no matter what, it does not belong to me. Who knows if the money will start eating me? So maybe I will just go and give it to the charity instead. This is the only best way I could think of. But I'm really not sure, there must be a way to contact the owner, but losing a million dollar on the street is quite weird to me

Hi, Yeah you are right, its a bit weird and there's no way a person would leave a million dollar on the street unless you are being framed up or something. But I guess best answer would be to donate it to charity,at least we know its for a good cause:-)

I would probably find a way to return the money. I believe in "karma" or the golden rule that do unto others what you want others do unto you. I might not want that I would lose money and if I do, I want that money to be returned. I also think, what if that 1 Million dollar money is used for a dying person or for an emergency? I could not bear that.

Hi, Thanks for you response. It could be that way, because why would you carry that big amount of money on hand if you think you dont need it. Maybe he was asked to bring the money to someone who really needs it,like you said could be to a dying person. We cant tell.If we dont need the money better return it or we might not want to use that money for our needs in the first place its not ours.

1 million dollar? That's a few trunks full of money. There's no way someone would leave that behind. In the casino when you win a substantial price there's a reason security guards help you get to your car to prevent you from getting your money stolen. But if I would find it I'd have a big problem because from that moment on according to the law you're responsible for bringing the trunks to the police. Should someone steal it when driving to the police station you're the one to cough it up. :D But yep I would definitely buy all sorts of stuff: New house, PS3, alienware laptop, computer... :)

Hi, Yes, you are right no one would leave that big amount on the street but who knows,hehehe..It would be a very tough decision whether to return or keep the money. I was also thinking the same to buy all sorts of stuff but what if the money is for a good cause, I mean what if the owner of money really needs it?

It's really hard to say. Someone who has a million dollars in their pocket will probably have way more in the bank, otherwise they wouldn't carry a million dollars with them. When they drop it on the ground, I could: a)take it and keep it b)return it The correct answer would be A, but with a million dollars I can do a lot of things. I would return it since I didn't exactly earn it. However, what would happen if the person that dropped it didn't earn it? Therefore I would just donate it. In a way I'm not keeping the money and in a way the person that dropped it knows that their money went to a good cause.

Hi, I like you answer. If we cant afford to keep it why not donate it to less fortunate ones. Though we didnt return it to the owner at least it went to someone who is much in need.
