Hi MyLotters! My family and I are big Orlando fans. We go just about every year. I have 2 girls 7 and 4 and two teenage stepsons 17 year old twins. The boys love Universal and Islands of Adventure. The girls love the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. I think I actually prefer Universal and Islands. I guess maybe I outgrew the magic Kingdom ha ha :) I was just online looking for tickets and stuff and it got me thinking. Anyone else have a preference? Have a Great Night! Julia

I haven't yet visited Florida but I have been to California. When I was 20 years old I visited Disneyland for one day and Universal Studios for another day. I think that you could spend sometime in Disneyland to appeal to your 7 year old and 4 year old daughters. Your teenage twin stepsons will probably really love going to Universal Studios. I hope that you will have a magical time in Orlando.

There is nothing quite like the magic of Disney, especially for a young child. But you do tend to outgrow it. The time before last, we skipped Disney completely and only went to Universal, islands of Adventure, and Seaworld, and the kids LOVED all three. And so did I--Universal has done a great job at its parks, and I especially loved the scenery and attention to detail on the Dr. Seuss section. And skipping Disney last time made us appreciate it more on our most recent visit. But my boys, 9 and 8, will soon outgrow the Magic Kingdom for good, I think. Hopefully they will remain interested in Animal Kingdom and Epcot for awhile!

Suzieqmom, Can you believe we have never been to Sea World? We actually went to Aquatica (Sea World's Water Park) but still haven't done Sea World. We all want to but it always seems like vacation is over before it even really starts!! Is it a must? I really do want to go. You know how it is there! You could fill every second doing something. I love Orlando.:) Take Care Julia
