A couple of years back i found my self addicted to friendster.com, i was able to log in into my account every now and then, play some games, chat, and try any other applications, but now i don't even bother to check on it anymore, it's because of facebook, games and applications at facebook are most popular at its very very user friendly.

There's still a possibility that other social networking site that could come close to facebook, i know that their developers are now searching on an idea to change and add features to their site to add excitement from their followers.

Look back from were you began, you'll remember good things into it, besides we learned first from friendster. Try Tagged.com, its another social networking site, i know you'll be enjoying this also.

Hi, I do have friendster account and I used to be active there before I joined facebook. But now, I have not been login to my friendster for few years and I can say , I forget the password for my friendster account, Everyone seem more On in facebook and I have lot of friends in facebook, we can chat and see some nice pictures that my friends uploaded. I guess friendster is bit out dated now and everyone is mostly on Facebook.

Its true that Facebook has been a revolution in the social networking. There were so many of the sites like hi5.com, orkut.com, myspace, bebo, friendster, etc. Most of these sites are fighting for their survival. Recently I read that myspace was on the verge of collapse. The users don't even care to sign in to safeguard the accounts from being deactivated. With Facebook zeroing on the security loopholes and bringing more application I think it will continue to gain popularity in coming years.

I agree to that, but haven't you tried tagged, tagged is also a social networking site and has a lot of difference with facebook, its my favorite next to facebook. I know for sure that this site will become popular also.
