One of GMA's legacy is the nautical highway and the revival of the railway system especifically PNR. Before, PNR trains looks horrible, well some trains still look horrible but there are a lot of new couches and air conditioning too. I also noticed that a lot of people and not just the construction workers who are now patronizing the train rides. Not only is it cheap but much more convenient compared to a jeepney ride.

My place is located near the PNR station and every time, I could hear the train's horn when it is nearing. Yes, it has a good service now and have improved. Unlike before, where you find people hanging there. I think, the train is like the LRT trains now. It is already air conditioned.

getting rid of illegal settlers helped a lot too. I just hope that they can revive so people can travel from the north to south as far as bicol.

I agree with you that the PNR trains have greatly improved. In fact, I take it when we have to go to Divisoria. It is not only the quickest way to get there, it is also the cheapest way to get to this famous center of great bargains. The couches are clean and air-conditioned. I just hope that our government will be able to sustain this improvement and that they make better looking ticket booths instead of the current almost dilapidated tables that are being used by their tellers in Bicutan station. And oh, a website where the train schedules are posted and updated will also be wonderful.
