Finding a job in the current recession is one of the hardest things to do, and now people have to find other means of making money. Now days there are more people trying to find work at home and online, making money online is harder than people think it is. There are steps that you need to take in order to make a proper presentation to an employer online that you wish to work for, starting with a resume and making sure it has skills pertaining to a specific job you are applying for, some places would also like a cover letter, so make sure your things are in order before applying. Be sure that you really want the job that you are applying for and that you know all the terms and conditions that it entitles, ask questions to the employer to express your interest. If you rather not work for any specific company you can go the freelance route of work, this means you can find work on your own either by writing articles or designing logos and a variety of other things headers, banners and buttons along with a variety of web page and graphical needs for people. You will have to make your own reputation out to be a good one; however people will have their opinions and some may not be too nice so never get discouraged with your work, keep doing what you love and never let anyone get you down. When you do free lance work it is great to have a portfolio that displays any of your creations or writing, people look upon portfolios in order to get a great idea of what your about and what you can do, do not put bad work on the portfolios but only put your best work up so that you have a better chance of getting hired. Write contracts for clients to sign so in case something does go wrong you can fall back on that contract and gain for what you have done, missing out on money that is deserved to you always happens online because people do not take the necessary cautions. As there are people who are not honest and then people who are always honest out there it is a 50/50 chance that someone will always take advantage of you, protect yourself from liars, cheaters and those whom would steal!! Goal setting for the work area inside your home is another good way to get started, go with small goals and work your way up, for example if you want to make 50 dollars one week and then 100 dollars the next work harder towards it and keep in the right mind set that you can do it! Set schedules and keep on the time schedules in order to get work accomplished and then set away some wind down time and relaxation, over working yourself both at home and or a workplace can get stressful and take a toll on life, work at a steady pace and even if you do not reach a goal say that is okay to yourself and you have tried your hardest, do not get yourself bent out of shape. What do you all think about this kind of thing? Do those that work at home take it into consideration and stick to your goals and morals, or do you do things just as they come and do not care about setting things to work towards?

Wow. This is a very wordy topic. I am now employed and I am also working online. You should really have a real job to be able to support your needs in life. Working online is doesn't have security at all because it is not everyday you can be online all the time. There would come a point where your internet connection would have some failures. etc. but we should always think what to choose either to work in the real world or online. it is still nice to work from both worlds.

I made it wordy for a reason, people can have something to respond and read if they so wish lol. I know people that make a full time income working from home, I know it is possible but it can as you said have some failures as well due to internet going out and whatever else, working at a workplace in real can get you money faster and it gets you out of the house and allows you to breathe some, I just think it is more of a personal decision in what to choose. Thank you very much though for your input, it is appreciated.
